I was in Oshkosh on business last year when I discovered Pilora's Cafe. I have been back now four times since then and it has been fabulous everytime. Pilora's was initially recommended by colleagues, and I have to admit, I was a little hesitant driving into the parking lot because it looked like an old pizza hut or ponderosa. However, I was quickly put at ease when I walked inside and saw how beautifully and tastefully decorated it was. The place has been transformed into a charming little cafe brightly painted and adorned with plants and lighting that create a very subtle and comfortable ambience.
Service has always been fast, friendly, and accomodating.
And the food completes the package for a place that I will keep going back to and recommend to others. I have had breakfast and lunch at Pilora's and have enjoyed each meal equally. The portions are generous, reasonably priced, and the quality of the food is equal to most of the higher end restaurants that I have eaten at around the country. I have read some other reviews online where people have complained that Pilora's is not family friendly. I have always gone with colleagues so I do not share this complaint and have enjoyed every experience I have had at this little gem in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
